Institutional shelter for the protection of rights. Our mission is to be a place of transformation and overcoming rights violations by understanding and recovering the history of each child, adolescent, adult, or elderly individual and their families through shelter.
Associação Sítio Agar is a non-profit institution that has been working in the shelter field for 28 years, with its headquarters in Cajamar, one unit in Várzea Paulista, and two units in Francisco Morato.
Today, we provide shelter for children/adolescents, adults with special needs, and the elderly (in a residential setting) who are in a state of social vulnerability (victims of abuse, abandonment, or violence). These are individuals who depend on our work, love, care, and dedication that we provide 24 hours a day to meet their needs and offer excellent care, and this is only made possible through the participation of everyone.
