This organization has been building its history by providing assistance to hundreds of children, adolescents, and their families in situations of social vulnerability. They reside in the Fátima Baixo neighborhood and 12 other neighborhoods in the Northern region of Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul.
Currently, they provide approximately 230 daily services to children and adolescents aged 6 to 15 through the following projects:
Projects
- Community Groups: These are daily activities held from Monday to Friday during the school’s off hours. The groups consist of children and adolescents under the guidance of a social educator, aiming to promote sociability, interaction, strengthening of family and community bonds through artistic, cultural, sports, leisure, nutrition, food security, and other activities.
- Workshops: These daily activities are designed to enhance and qualify the actions of the Community Groups. The activities are conducted in small groups based on individual and group skills and interests, providing access to sociocultural practices that promote the development of new social interactions and citizenship education.
- Nutrition: With the aim of supplementing the nutrition of young people, two meals per shift are served daily to the children and adolescents participating in the project. The menu is developed by a nutritionist and includes the necessary nutrients for a healthy diet.
